Menorca S'Algar Villa
The villa is situated on a "front line" corner plot in the most prominent position in S'Algar, enjoying superb panoramic views over the Mediterranean sea. From the headland of Cala Rafalet and the entrance to Mahon harbour to the north, the view sweeps across to the south. There is always something to watch out to sea, local fishing boats, yachts, cruise liners, powerboats and even the occasional four-master. We were told that dolphins have been seen in front of the cliffs - and we finally saw them for ourselves in April 2008!

Situated on a good-sized plot, mainly laid to lawn, there is a covered, shady patio area and small rear patio. Access to the villa is from the small one-way road that runs along the sea wall. If you have a hire car, the villa has its own parking space. Behind the villa are raised landscaped gardens, a good sized communal swimming pool and sunbathing terraces. There is a small shop stocking essentials at the Las Palmeras apartments, just five minutes walk away. The Las Palmeras restaurant also sells great takeaway pizzas from its wood fired oven! A larger supermarket is fifteen minutes' walk away in the village square.
The villa has two bedrooms, one with king-size bed and one twin, both with fitted wardrobes, and two full bathrooms (one ensuite to the main bedroom). The main bedroom has large double doors opening out onto the private rear patio area. Both bathrooms have baths with shower. The fully equipped kitchen (all electric) has washing machine, microwave, fan oven, ceramic hob and breakfast bar. The lounge and dining area has a large fully opening picture window with views out to sea, dining table and chairs seating six, full sized double sofa bed, chairs, satellite TV, DVD and CD system. The villa can accommodate up to six people when using the double sofa bed in the lounge.
